Inspiring words

Source : Glimpse after Glimpse - Sogyal Rinpoche.

To learn how to die is to learn how to live; to learn how to live is to learn how to act not only in this life but in the lives to come. To transform yourself truly and learn how to be reborn as a tranformed being to help others is really to help the world in the most powerful way of all.

Let us dare to imagine now what it would be like to live in a world where a significant number of people took the opportunity, offered by the teachings, to devote part of their lives to serious spiritual practice, to recognise the nature of their minds, and so to use the opportunity of their deaths to move closer to Buddhahood, and to be reborn with one aim, that of serving and benefiting others.
******************************************************************************
Evoking the power of compassion in us is not always easy. I find myself that the simplest ways are the best and most direct. Everyday, life gives us innumerable chances to open ur hearts, if we can only take them. An ald women passes you with a sad and lonely face and two heavy plastic bags full of shopping which she can hardly carry. Switch on the television, and there on the news is a mother in beirut kneeling above the body of her murdered son, or an old grandmother in moscow pointing to the thin soup which is her only food.........
Anyone of the sight could open the eyes of your heart to the fact of the vast suffering in the world. Let it. Don't waste the love and grief it arouses. In the moment you feel the compassion welling up in you, don;t brush it aside, don't shrug it off and try quickly return to "normal", don't be afraid of your feelings or be embarrased by it, and don't allow yourself to be distracted from it. Be vulnerable : Use that quick, bright uprush of compassion - focus on it, go deep into your heart and meditate on it, develop it, enhance and deepen it. By doing this you will realize how blind you have been to the suffering of the world.
All beings, everywhere, suffer; let your heart go out to them all in spontaneous and immeasurable compassion.

Watching disturbance in mind

Source : Glimpse after Glimpse - Sogyal Rinpoche.

Just as the ocean has waves, and the sun has rays, so the mind's own radiance is its thoughts and emotions. The ocean has waves, yet the ocean is not particularly disturbed by them. The waves are the very nature of the ocean. Waves will rise, but where do they go ? Back into the ocean. And where do the waves come from ? The ocean.

In the same manner, thoughts and emotions are the radiance and expression of the very nature of the mind. They rise from the mind, but where do they dissolve ? Back into the mind. Whatever rises, do not see it has a particular problem. If you do not impulsively react , If you are only patient, it will once again settle into its essential nature.

When you have this understanding, then rising thought only enhance your practice. But when you do not understand what they intrisically are- the radiance of the naure of the mind, then your thoughts become the seed of confusion. So have a spacious, open and compassionate attitude towards your thoughts and emotions, because in fact your thoughts are your family, the family of your mind. Before them, as Dudjom Rinpoche used to say "Be like a old wise man, watching a child play".

******************************************************************

Realizing the view subtly but completely transforms your vision of everything. More and more, I have come to realize how thoughts and concepts are all that block us from always being, quite simply, in the obsolute.

Now I see clearly why the masters so often say "Try hard not to create too much fear or hope", for they only engender more mental gossip. When the View is there, thoughts are seen for they are truly are : fleeting and transparent, and only relative. You see through everything directly, as if you had X-ray eyes. You do not cling to thoughts or reject them; you welcome them within the vast embrace of Rigpa. The thing you took so seriously before - ambitions, plans, expectations, doubts and passions - no longer have any deep and anxious hold over you, for the View has helped you to see the futility and pointlesness of them all, and born in you the spirit of true renunciation.

The difficult human birth - Only an opportunity for transformation

Every spiritual tradition has stressed that this human life is unique and has a potential that ordinarily we don't even begin to imagine. If we miss the oppurtunity this life offers us for transforming ourselves, they say, it may well be an extremely long time before we have another.

Imagine a blind turtle roaming the depths of an ocean the size of the universe. Up obove floats a wooden ring, tossed to and fro on the waves. Every hundred years, the turtle comes, once , to the surface. To be born a human being is said by the Buddhists to be more difficult than for that turtle to surface accidentaly with its head poking through the wooden ring.

And even among those who have a human birth, it is said, those who have the great good fortune to make a connection with the teachings are rare, and those who really take them to heart and embody them in their actions even rarer--as rare, in fact, "as stars in broad daylight". The craving mind - The real culprit

Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche describes a yogi wandering through a garden. He is completely awake to splendour and beauty of the flowers, and relishes their colors, shapes and scents. But there is no trace of clinging or any "after-thought" in his mind.

As Dudjom Rinpoche says:- "Whatever perceptions arise, you should be like a little child going into a beautifully decorated temple; he looks, but grasping does not enter into his perception at all. You leave everything fresh, natural, vivid and unspoiled. When you leave each thing in its own state, then its shape doesn't change, it's color doesn't fade and its glow does not disappear. Whatever appears is unstained by any grasping, so then all that you perceive arises as the naked wisdom of Rigpa(Our original state of mind), which is the indivisibility of luminosity and emptiness.
My own experience :-
During a Hatha Yoga program, I was attracted to a beautiful girl. Our eyes met and we were lost to each other. We enjoyed every moment of it. But the moment my mind began to organise tricks to somehow get her, I sensed that I have lost some sacredness in it. My mind was suggesting all kind of ideas like should I suggest myself a bachelor or married despite the fact that I am married. Truly I did not sense any guilt in feeling her. But the only way I could possess her was to be aggressive and that was not in my nature of things. I simply walked off. It was like if existence wants, he will allow us to meet without any effort in our part. It was a beautiful experience.
In one more incident, while I lived in 2nd floor, a female maid servant was living in the 1st floor of my brothers house. Soon we were attracted to each other and there was a silent agreement that nature should take its own course. But during her visit to my house she aggressively demanded something from my father. I could see the aggressive & possesive mind behind the beautiful body. I was able to see the nature of the sex very clearly. It is like you stand in the terrace and you view a beautiful swimming pool. There is a craving to experience it and you decide to take a dive into it. You enjoy every bit of it. Only when you come out of swimming pool, you become aware that the whole field is covered with red and green chillies. And you suffer in unawareness. If one is not meditative, one will hanker for sexual experience again and again, no matter what be the cost. Hankering will awaken jealousy, violence, aggression, anger. Everything is lost in unawareness.
The offer to merge was so open but I decided not to respond to it. She was hurt by my sudden change in behaviour. But it was too late before I realised my mistake. Atleast I will not have to carry all my life.

Living in illusion

So many veils and illusions separate us from the stark knowledge that we are dying. When we finally know we are dying, and all other sentient beings are dying with us, we start to have a burning, almost heartbreaking sense of fragility and preciousness of each moment and each being, and from this can grow a deep, clear, limitless compassion for all beings.

Sir Thomas More, I heard, wrote this words just before his beheading "We are all in the same cart, goint to the execution, how can i hate anyone or wish anyone harm ?" To feel the full force of your mortality, and to open your heart entirely to it, is to allow to grow in you that all-encompassing, fearless compassion that fuels the lives of all those who wish truly to be of help to others.

Near Death experience from the above mentioned book

Those who have been through the near-death experience have reported a startling range of aftereffects and changes. One woman said: The things that I felt slowly were a very heightened sense of love, the ability to communicate love, the ability to find joy and pleasures in the smallest and most insignificant things about me....... I developed a great compassion for people that were ill and facing death, I wanted so much to let them know, to somehow make them aware that the dying process was nothing more than an extension of one's life.

*************************************************************************

What is our life but a dance of transient forms? Isn't everything always changing? Doesn't everything we have done in the past seem like a dream now? The friends we grew up with, the childhood haunts, those views and opinions we once held with such single minded passion: We have left them all behind. Now, at this moment, reading this book seems vividly real to you. Even this page will soon be only a memory.

Obstacles in the path

The following excerpts are from the book Glimpse after Glimpse by Sogyal Rinpoche :-

When little obstacles crop up on the spiritual path, a good practitioner does not lose faith and begin to doubt, but has the discernment to recognize difficulties, whatever they may be, for what they are - just obstacles, and nothing more. It is the nature of things that when you recognize an obstacle as such, it ceases to be an obstacle. Equally, it is by failing to recognize the obstacle for what it is, and therefore taking seriously, that it is empowered and solidified and becomes a real blockage.

My own experience :-

I have experienced various kind of obstacles in my life, ranging from small to intense. When problems come, it looks like that it will stay here for eternity, making us fearful. But it is actually just a phase, which comes and go. One does not have to do anything. The only thing one can do is to maintain dignified living, not to compromise on the values we have learned in Isha. The bad phase simply passes off, leaving no signature of it behind. Sometimes I wonder that the reason for which I became fearful is still present but the very nature of fear does not stays. It passes off. Only patience, and taking care of the light of love which was burned through Sadhguru's kriya, will help you to tread your path joyfully. Really, if you are in love with Sadhguru, you will pass off the hardest of obstacles in your life. I remember Sadhguru's saying that "Whatever you may do in you life, simply weigh your act whether it is for me or it is against me. A simple sadhana.

Make your practice a joyful experience

Quotes from the book "Glimpse after Glimpse" by Sogyal Rinpoche, a tibetan master.

"There are many ways of making the approach to meditation as joyful as possible. You can find the music that most exalts you and use it to open your heart and mind. You can collect pieces of poetry, or quotations or lines of teachings that over the years have moved you, and keep them always in hand to elevate your spirit. I have always loved Tibetan thangka paintings and derive strenght from their beauty. You too can find reproductions of painting that arouse a sense of sacredness and hang them on the walls of your room.

Listen to a cassette tape of a teaching by a great master, or a sacred chant. You can make of the place where you meditate a simple paradise, with one flower, one stick of incense, one candle, one photograph of an enlightened master, or one statue of a deity or a buddha. You can transform the most ordinary of rooms int an intimate sacred space, an environment where everyday tou go to meet with your true self with all the joy and happy ceremony of one old friend greeting another."

***************************************************************************

"When I teach meditation, I often begin by saying "Bring your mind home. And release, And relax."

To bring your mind home means to bring the mind into the state of Calm Abiding through the practice of mindfulness. In its deepest sense, to bring your mind home is to turn your mind inward and rest in the nature of the mind. This itself is the highest meditation.

To release means to release the mind from its prison of grasping, since you recognise that all pain and fear and distress arise from the craving of the grasping mind. On a deeper level, the realization and confidence that arise from your growing understanding of the nature of the mind inspire the profound and natural generosity that enables you to release all grasping from your heart, letting it free itself to melt away in the inspiration of meditation.

To relax means to be spacious and to relax the mind of its tension. More deeply, you relax into the true nature of your mind, the state of Rigpa. It is like pouring a handful of sand on to a flat surface, and each grain settles of its own accord. This is how you relax into your true nature, letting all thoughts and emotions naturally subside and dissolve into the state of the nature of the mind."

******************************************************************************

My Own experience :-

The first thing I do in the morning when i wake up is take the keys and get ahead towards the temple to fetch flowers. It has been a beautiful experience, making an offering before I start my kriyas. Lighting up a deepam, placing the flowers in the bowl of water so that the flowers can stay fresh for whole day long, lighting up the incense sticks, leaving the place spellbound by the aroma of Sathsang. I always cherish this feeling of sacredness. The only question is that Can we carry this sacredness with us for whole day long? Can we maintain the silence within the disturbance of the noise in the marketplace?

Faith in the guru

The following are the quotes from a tibetan book "Glimpse after Glimpse" authored by Sogyal Rinpoche on the above subject "Faith in the Guru". The book contains golden quotes by various tibetan masters.

"If, at the moment of death, you can unite your mind confidently with the wisdom mind of the master and die in that peace, then all, I promise and assure you, will be well.

Our task in life is to practice this merging with the wisdom mind of the master again and again, so that it becomes so natural that every activity- sitting, walking, eating, sleeping, dreaming and waking - starts to be increasingly permeated by the master's living presence. Slowly, over years of focused devotion, you begin to know and realize all apperances to be the display of the wisdom of the master. All the situations of life, even those that once seemed tragic, meaningless or terrifying, reveal themselves more and more transparently to be the direct teaching and blessing of the master, and the inner teacher."

********************************************************************************

When we have prayed and aspired and hungered for the truth for a long time, for many, many lives, and when our karma has become sufficiently purified, a kind of miracle takes place. And this miracle, if we can understand and use it, can lead to the ending of ignorance forever. The inner teacher, who has been with us always, manifests in the form of the "outer teacher", who, almost as if by magic, we actually encounter. This is the most important encounter of any lifetime.

************************************************************

Devotion is the purest, quickest, and simplest way to realize the nature of mind and all things. As we progress in it, the process reveals itself as wonderfully interdependent: We, from our side, try continually to generate devotion, which itself generates glimpses of the nature of mind, and these glimpses only enhance and deepen our devotion to the master who is inspiring us. So in the end devotion springs out of wisdom: devotion and the living experience of the nature of mind become inseperable and inspire each other.

Why be limited, when we can live unlimitedly ?

When i joined Isha Program, the venue held was almost an half-an-hour drive from my home. It was effortless, all because of love for my Sadhguru. There are people who are interested in their well being than being inspired by spiritual guru. So when my brother asked me If i am aware of any Yoga Classes being held, I suggested him to join Art of Living despite being part of Isha Yoga because the venue was nearby and also I found the same aura of divinity in Sri Sri Ravishankar which I have seen in Sadhguru.
My brother was suffering from diabetis. He was on insulin, which suggests that he was in extreme condition. My suggestion paid off. Initially when he joined art of living, he attended irregularly and later on abandoned the Kriyas. Being the venue closer by, he decided to join again and the effort paid off. Miraculously, he was free from diabetes. Looking at his recovery, my wife and my bhabhi also joined Art of Living. I was so happy that everything is turning so well. What is important for me is somehow if I can inspire people to long for authentic spiritual master whether it be Sadhguru or Sri Sri Ravishankar. There is no conflict between me and my wife though we are aspiring for our spiritual wellbeing from two different camps. Infact, we are enjoying our spiritual journey. Life is so beautiful when you live boundlessly.

Kalpavriksha - Do we care for planet earth ?

I have been hearing a lot about global warming all these days. Scientist have been telling that we might be the last generation which will probably survive this mass destruction, that will affect the humanity. The words of Sadhguru are piercing. He made me feel embarass that Are we doing enough for the planet ? He says that though the awareness is dawning in people that they should do something for saving the planet, but their action is inspired by survival instincts and not love for the nature. Mother Nature has nurtured us from eternity and what have we done in return. I don't know if you are aware that if all the trees in this planet are uprooted, then you cannot exist even for a moment. It is a intimate relationship between the people and trees. While we inhale oxygen from trees, the trees inhale carbon-di-oxide from us. You must have experienced the coolness of the breeze, when you pass through a array of trees. Trees bring so much beauty and silence to the place. But has India is experiencing the economic upsurge, people are constructing more and more buildings by uprooting trees. This will prove disastrous to our existence. Certainly we cannot blame these people, who are commiting this acts in unawareness. They are strongly rooted in their minds and all their action are inspired by their past or their community. But the problem we are facing is anew and it is difficult for them to grasp the importance of the present. We are lucky that we are with someone as inspiring as Sadhguru. He has made us see what action is needed in present. Meditation has helped us to erase many of the unneccasary things which were cluttered in our minds. So, I feel that we are ultimately responsible for the well-being of this planet earth. The mass proportion of the humanity is not even aware of the existence of Sadhguru.

We can contribute by participating in some tree planting. As Sadhguru says, even our body gets organised when we are in touch with earth. You must have come accross yogis who are immersed in the ground upto the neck. That is their way of charging the body. The very soil generates intelligence. Even when we die, as our body is burnt, it is the same material of the planet earth. We can also contribute to tree planting by purchasing KALPAVRIKSHA VCD.

Sadhguru, how do we get over death of our dear one ?

Q: Sadhguru, how do we get over the death of a dear one?

A:
[Sadhguru breathes in and out heavily and asks] “What is this? Life? Right?”
[Sadhguru breathes out once and stops for a while before asking] “What is this? Death? Right?”
“Now, someone or the other is dying in my family on a daily basis. What should I do about it? You don’t understand? This universe full of people is my family. How should I get over it? Get over what? You mean to get over the fact that the body, mind and emotions that you recognised the person by is no longer here, right? But when you could feel all of that of that person what did you do with that? The very fact that you want to get over it means that there is something that you did not do for the person which you ideally wanted to do when the person was alive. Do you know what that means? The person died but is alive inside you.
Everything happening in this world is happening where? Inside you. Am I right? I am talking here, where is it happening? Inside you. The tree is there but where is it actually? In your eyes, again inside you, right? You know all that nonsense of light falling on that image is getting reflected and creating an inverted image on your retina that is being read by your mind and shown to you in the way that it is, right? So where is everything happening? Where is the world? Inside you. Whatever is happening here is actually happening inside you. The moment it comes into your experience the world is inside you. So where is death of a dear one happening? Inside you?
This January when I was at the World Economic Forum, there was this nonagenarian lady who came upto me and narrated her experience. As a 13 year old she was from some part in Europe that was being conquered by Hitler and they were systematically exterminating the Jews and other people as well. It was at a time when her parents had disappeared, assumed dead, and she was left with her 8 year old brother at the railway station for around 4 to 5 days waiting for a train that would take her somewhere. As soon as they got on to the train, she noticed that her kid brother was not wearing shoes. He had missed it somewhere. The temperatures there are freezing cold. She got enraged and wrenched her brother’s ears for not wearing his shoes and scolded him almost throughout the journey. The boy did not respond even a single line. As the train reached its destination the boys and the girls were separated and taken away to their respective camps for extermination. The girl survived the camp and came out alive after 4 or 5 years and never saw her brother again.
To this day she remembers this incident with lot of emotions. But she said that she made an important decision from then. The last thing that she ever gave her brother was admonishment and hence whoever she met from that day on she spoke to them as if it was the last word she would ever speak to them. Please see how you interact with people at home, neighbours, colleagues, people on the road and others. Imagine if it was the last word you would ever speak to them and speak to them from now on. How would you speak? Would you still speak the same way or would there be a change in the way you spoke to them? In fact it is a reality. Look at it - you are here now, I am speaking to you. Is there any guarantee that you will be here next moment or tomorrow? Not that I want all of you to die or disappear suddenly, in fact I wish and pray that all of you lead long and happy lives [folds his hands in prayer], but can you guarantee me that you will be alive the next moment for me to speak to you?
Now the reason that you want to get over the death of a dear one is because somewhere deep down you feel you have not done or said something that you ideally wanted to do for the departed. Now that the person has departed you feel you have lost the opportunity of doing whatever you wanted to do. Imagine if you spoke and lived as if it was the last time you ever saw the person. Would there be any reason for you to get over death at all?
While doing this program, Anandha Alai, two of my volunteers have had an accident and have broken their skulls and died. Two others of my family, very loved ones, very dear ones have passed away recently. If we have done whatever we wanted to do for them then we continue to live joyously, right? We don’t have to let sadness affect us because they have passed away. We can be joyful and happy when our conscience is clear”

The tibetan book of the dead

The blog which you are reading now is simply expressible of my own understanding of the book "The Tibetan Book of the Dead". The author of this book is W.Y.Evans Wentz. I wish the readers of this blog will try to ascertain the facts themselves from this book. I feel the book is authethic since the author has himself travelled in the parts of Tibet, Himalayas and have joined the various schools of religious sect before ascertaining the fact. In fact the author has impartially worked only has a interpreter of this book. He has translated whatever has been said by a Lamaic Teacher from Tibet. You can buy this book Here. This book will change the very way you have lead your life.

What you should do when your near one's breath is about to cease while encountering death ?

This is the most important moment in the life of the deceased. Please do not overlook this fact. It is the moment, when all the relatives and near one's should leave the deceased alone with the expert yogic preacher who will recite the verses from the above mentioned book. The preacher will keep reminding him about the states which he is going to experience. The suffering and crying's of the relatives disturbs the spirit of the deceased and the deceased is unable to hear what preacher is trying to say. I can understand the emotion's and pains of the relatives, of being separated from your dear one's. But this is the moment, when the deceased can realise that he is simply a void state of mind. This state of mind of the deceased continues even after death. The mind is clear, clean, uncreated yet powerful. It can avoid taking rebirth in this world of suffering and gain enlightenment. To gain enlightenment is very easy at the moment of death since the mind is many fold powerful at that time and it can understand things more clearly than our ordinary state of mind. BUT THE BIGGEST QUESTION FOR THIS MOMENT IS THAT , CAN WE FIND A YOGIC PREACHER OR BECOME ONE ?

Why people consider death as a taboo ?

I
t is strange that people avoid speaking on the subject of death, when the inevitable is going to happen to everyone. Wouldn't it would be wise if we become familiar with this phenomenon of death. One thing I came to know from this book is that there is existence even after death. It is not that has soon has we die, we will reincarnate in some other life form. We will have to pass through variety of visions, like dazzling lights, rays, peaceful and wrathful deities ,after death, which are coming from the centres of our own brain centres. This visions described in the book, are written with perspective of a buddhist. The visions will differ for a muslim, christian, hindu etc. There lies the secret key. One needs to understand that those visions are coming from one's own self. Those lights and deities are described in the stupendous form in the book, which I in no way can describe it my blog. What happens is, while our body is dead, the mental body is still alive. The mind becomes more lucid and clear after death and it sees things in unimaginable forms. Our conciousness is no longer entangled to our body. So these visions will come in dazzling forms. If one has lead a self-centred life, than he will be afraid of watching these visions and will try to flee away from this visions. No matter how much he may try to escape, those visions will follow him wherever he goes. The only thing the deceased can do is to recognise that this visions are emating from thy own brain. It is the part of his own intellect. On the other hand, if a person has lived a life of love, peace, joy, than that person will be able to recognise those visions. It has been specified in the book that if the person has come from yogic tradition, it will be easier for him to understand that whatever visions he see, is part of his own self. The visions and yourself are the same unity. One only needs to recognise and merge into it.

The goods news
for human beings who are not in the spiritual practices is, this very book is designed, so that they can be liberated from this world. But one will need an expert preacher, who can practice, what has been prescribed in the book. The same things happen when you dream. You might had a nightmarish dream. The dream may be unreal but still you perspire in reality watching this dream. The watcher fails to recognise that this dream can cause no harm to him. The dream only acted has a reminder that there is fear inside you, which you have not addressed. What happens in this practice is, while the deceased is watching this dazzling visions, and is getting horrified by this visions, at that same time the preacher keeps reminding him that it is only a dream. No harm can come to him. Be calm and composed. Remember thy guru, the compassionate lord, or its tuteliery deities and thus it can be liberated from suffering and misery of this world.

My experiences 2 - Bhava Spandana (Yoga Program)

When i attended the 7 days Isha Program, some people who have already done the B.S.P (Bhava Spandana Program), were asked to relate their own experience of doing this program. 3 out of 5 people, simply broke down. The joy was so enormous, that they had difficulty relating their experiences. I could read the message behind their tears. They wanted us to experience this same joy.
That very day, I decided that I will attend this program. I booked my travelling tickets, 3 months in advance, not knowing whether the circumstances will allow me to go there. During those 3 months, I never enquired with anyone with what happens in the programs. I was simply prepared to do what they would tell me to do.
When I reached there in Coimbatore, I was worried about my family, not knowing how they will manage in my absence. But soon those thoughts of worry were overtaken by beauty and splendour of the Ashram. The commitment of the Isha Volunteers was simply irreplacable. They served us has we are part of their self. Their love was so silent. I got the first glimpse of what love can be, love without any boundaries. Love of just being related to each other, without any name given to it. We simply enjoyed in each other's presence. The feeling was divine. I wish everyone basks in the love of the divine. The best way to be present in the B.S.P is either we can be alone or we can be with all of the participants or we can be with any of the participants. Please avoid enclosing yourself within a group. Its a place where you can open up and break up many unneccesary resistance. One only needs childlike simplicity to enjoy the program. One is required to give only 4 days of intense participation. And then, one can see the result for ourself.

During the course of the program, I was awake at 4am early morning. A few people very walking here & there. So it was pitch dark in the hall and suddenly my eyes met a man. I have never seen him before but somehow the experience of energy within us was so strong that we embraced each other for no reason with tears of joy falling out of our eyes. That defines how things have been for me during the program.

It just happened that when I reached home I was fast asleep in the afternoon. All of a sudden I heard a divine voice, which was singing. When I opened my eyes, I found that the song was being played on the T.V.. It was an ordinary song, if it was played, on any other day. But the energy was so intense inside me, that it revealed divine colours in the song. Soon, my cousin came up and said that when i was fast asleep, she noticed an all pervading blissfullness in my face.

Next day, I had to go to railway station early in the morning at 6 a.m.. Has nature plays its own game, the train was late by 1 hour. So I had spent my next 1 hour relaxing in the platform. All of a sudden, everything was moving in a slower pace. The lights all over were displaying in vibrant form. It reminded me, that this glimpse must have experienced when I was in the early ages of just born child. Everything was crystal clear. I noticed the sweet tinkling of the eyes of the hens, who were caged inside the cage.

Compassion was overflowing inside me. I noticed a beggar, who was paralysed, lying in the platform helplessly. I ran to a nearby hotel , to get some food for him. I placed the parcel in front of him but he was unable to take it (paralysed). I gave a little opening to the parcel, so that the strong aroma of the food, would give him some strenght to wake up. I ran away, leaving the rest in the hand of existence. Obviously I did not want the people in the platform to know about what was happening to me.
Everything was so clearly visible, since things were moving so slowly. I noticed a sweet child of 2 years old, pulling a suitcase, with the help of the trolley. He was enjoying every bit of it till his parents came and took the suitcase away from him. The parents were worried about the well being of the child but were completely unaware of the joy that the child was enjoying playing with the suitcase. The child started crying, the moment suitcase was taken away from him.

People would become joyful, just with my presence around them. I experienced one conciousness with all the people around me, whether known or unknown. When I was sitting in my shop, I noticed a fight brewing up between a Alcoholic man of 30's and a kid of 10. Unable to bear the sight of kid being beaten up, I interfered and overpowered the alcoholic man. Soon the general public overtook the man and handed him over to the police. He was mercilessly beaten up by the police. While the general public was rejoicing in the justice being handed over to the man, I was all in tears, on the sight of man being tortured. For me, the victim and the aggressor became one. While the general public was operating as a part of its intellect, B.S.P opened a new avenue of living within me, the heart centre. So love was the very order of the day.

There is no greater experience than being with Sadhguru. I felt that these glimpses were a gift from Sadhguru, to make us aware that when Energy is running at the highest peak, everything looks so divine. This glimpses inspired me to live the life to the fullest, which i have learned so much during the B.S.P. Anyway, the experiences of the B.S.P, is the thing of the past. As Sadhguru says, the spirit of B.S.P. has to be imbibed in our life, when we get back to home. These programs breaks so many resistance in us, which we have created unconciously. I know that if one does this program with 100% participation, one will come out has a just born human being.

Most importantly, though i had shared my experience, it doesn't have to be the same for everyone. But one thing will be same in everyone.... #Intense

For many days I would sleep late at night by 3 or 4 am. I would simply enjoy the view outside the street. It was just miraculous that I was enjoying every moment of life energy moving in the street. The stillness of the night was just incredible. In summary, I value the experience of oneness with all beings than the psychedelic experience I had.
Wish all the participants, the best of my wishes.

When I look back at those events that happened back 1 year, I am immensely grateful to all the people who made this program such has Bhava Spandana available to us. That experience of oneness with all the beings has been with me all the time and has taken a new form in the name of "Volunteering in Isha". It is just like that when you watch a beautiful movie, you cannot be content with only watching the movie. You would also want all the people to watch the movie has well. And I took to volunteering, wanting people to experience it.
